The Alef Kabbala Group (30 June 2010) explored an edited discourse by the Lubavitcher Rebbe said in 1975 in the week of Sedra Pinchas. The focus is on the Division of the Holy Land among the 12 Tribes. The verse says this should be by apportioning the Land according to number of people in the Tribe or family within the Tribe (Num.26:54) but also through drawing lots (26:55). This combination of rational and supora-rational approaches is then applied to the individual in his or her relationship with the Divine.
