The Alef Kabbala Group (24 November 09) explored a discourse by the Lubavitcher Rebbe said on Shabbat Vayetzei 1987 (5748)on the verse 'And Laban got up in the morning and kissed his sons and daughters..' (Gen.32:1). Kabbalah presents another meaning of 'Laban': an exalted spiritual radiance. This is manifested to each individual every morning, in response to the daily prayers. Then the radiance is hidden, and each indvidual goes on his or her way forward...
