Why G-d chose Mount Sinai, the smallest of mountains, as the site for the giving of the Torah. The insight is that humility is a prerequisite for Torah learning, as expressed in Midrashic teaching that Mount Sinai's lowliness was a divine lesson about the humility needed to receive divine wisdom.
