Lifting One's Hands To G-D

This discourse was delivered by the Rebbe on Shabbat Parshat Pinchas, 5727 (1967). The Psalm verse 'Lift up your hands to G-d and bless Him' was said by the Previous Rebbe on the Shabbat after his miraculous release from Soviet captivity in 1927. The discourse explains how we can bless G-d by reaching up to the Upper Divine Name and drawing down a spiritual flow to the Lower, and how this act reveals the Essence of the soul, Yechidah, linking to the Sedra's theme of offerings.
