This discourse was taught on Shabbat 12 Tammuz in 1967. On 12-13 Tammuz, 1927, the Previous Rebbe was given his freedom after his arrest on account of his activities strengthening Judaism in the Bolshevik USSR. Forty years later the Rebbe discussed the discourse said by the Previous Rebbe on the day he was released, thanking G-d for his freedom.
