Shemini (5725)

Shemini | Leviticus | 5725

This discourse was delivered by the Rebbe on Shabbat Parshat Shemini, 5725 (1965). A Midrash describes a future 'circus' in which Leviathan slaughters the Ox with its serrated fins, raising a question about whether such a slaughter could be kosher. Rabbi Shneur Zalman and Rabbi Dov Ber explain that this represents the future transformation of the world, when even things currently considered outside holiness will be elevated and included within it.
