Beyond Nature in Nature (Vayikra 5748)

This discourse was delivered by the Rebbe on Shabbat Parshat Vayikra, Parshat HaChodesh, 5748 (1988). On the Shabbat before Rosh Chodesh Nisan an additional Torah reading commands 'This month shall be for you the first of the months', designating Nisan as the month of Redemption. The discourse explores how G-d's command to change the first month reveals that the Redemption from Egypt represents something entirely beyond nature, a level that transcends the natural order which was established at Creation.
